Hubby made me high counters in my sewing-room here.. Now I bring them along on quilt retreats... Sure saves your back, and I've been there and done that with hand basting on the floor... no more of that nonsense!! Only hand-baste if I am going to hand-quilt a quilt now. I love to have those table "raise...Very nice. I love to have those table "raisers" if you don't have a table that is a good height. A few years ago I had a really wild hair and bought myself an extra high table with drop sides, so when it is open it is 9+ feet long.
