Homespun BOM: Arrowhead Puzzle

Since the next meeting of the Material Girls is fast approaching and the latest installment of the Block of the Month will be distributed, I thought it was time to show the April block.

I am not too fond of this block and hope it will 'bury' itself in the top. Maybe it is my selection of fabrics? I dunno. Electric Quilt will help with the 'burying' of the block. Each month I plug the latest block into my quilt setting. And shuffle them around. And rotate them. And shuffle some more.

This is 'Arrowhead Puzzle' and the pattern for the block can be found at Marcia Hohn's Quilter's Cache site.

If you are playing along with me, there are only 4 more blocks left after this one and you might want to consider thinking about your own layout.

  1. I think they look great and will blend in very nicely with the others. How many blocks have you done so far?

  2. I kinda like it . . . particularly the smaller version. I'll have to go check out the link for the pattern. Like I need a new project *ha*

  3. Hey, it's still a pretty block. It's probably MUCH more interesting if you made a whole quilt out of it.

  4. I like the block and think the fabrics work well together. It could make some neat patterns if you had more blocks like that. But I take it you don't for this project?

  7. I think it is a lovely block. I fully understand about shuffling and reshuffling, although I haven't done that electronically. I usually give up when it is time to sew things together and wind up with a setting I would have gotten without all the shuffling and reshuffling.
