Christmas In July

Instead of throwing out these patterns I decided to be green so to get you in a holiday mood, I am having not one, but two giveaways. Up for grabs are two Christmas themed quilt patterns: one pieced called Thoughts of Christmas and one applique called Snowman Collector. To enter, all you need to do is leave a comment on this post and tell me which one you would like. This giveaway will close on July 31. Both of these BOMs were purchased from a LQS and (can you believe it?) made. The applique is the one I pull out every year for Christmas and the pieced one was given to a friend.

You may only enter once and must have a way for me to contact you. Merry Christmas in July, ho ho ho!

  3. The snowman collector is beautiful. I have so many WIPs that I probably shouldn't be entering a drawing for any more patterns though.

  4. I'd like to be in the drawing for the pieced quilt...I think I could manage, it doesn't look too complex. Thanks for being green! Love where we can all benefit from that..

I just found your blog since I was contemplating buying a Big Board which is on sale at my LQS (local quilt shop?). Now I am gonna get DH to make one for me!!! THANKS for that tutorial! The set is on sale for $190. Did you ever buy the mat for your BB? I don't need another project but I do collect snowmen so if I win, I would please enjoy that pattern! BTW we have 5 kids and the twins are going to college in the fall so $$ is indeed tight! I enjoyed your blog!

  12. Oh, I love The Thoughts of Christmas. That is really sweet and I know I'd enjoy working on that.
I guess I am going to have to break down and do a blog so I can do the same thing because I simply cannot throw away a pattern, magazine or fabric.
Thanks for opportunity and have enjoyed your blog.

  16. Hello Paula,
I love your blog. I would like to win the Snowman Collector pattern for two reasons. 1) I am a snowman collector and 2) I was given all the templates and the fabric for this quilt, but not a picture or the pattern so it makes it hard for me to finish putting it together. Thanks so much for sharing and please visit my blog http://bumbleknit.blogspot.com/

  23. I am newbie to quilting but have found a passion for it. Finished two so far, one for my new granddaughter and one for my son-in-law for his birthday. My daughter LOVES snowmen and has quite a collection that she puts out every Xmas. I would love to make the snowman quilt for her to add one more item to her collection.

  36. Hi Paula,
Christmas in July is almost as much fun as Christmas in December! I would love to win the Snowman Collector pattern as they are mine and my daughter's (whose name is also Paula!) favorite decorating item in winter. Thanks for holding this give-a-way.

  37. Since Christmas is my second favorite holiday after Halloween, I am always looking at quilt patterns. I only have one scrappy quilt I made in 1996 when I first started quilting, so I would love to have one of yours! Either is fine with me since I can't make up my mind.
