I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. It seems that I took a week-long hiatus from blogland. It wasn't intentional, really. I got involved with just relaxing and it was wonderful!

The very large winter storm that has this country (USA) in it's grip made my little family stay indoors. TheKid surprised us by giving a Blue-Ray disc player and a movie and we spent the afternoon in the company of Kirk, Spock, McCoy, etal. We even rearranged the furniture to get maximum effect! So the cold wind howled around the house while we were cozy watching movies.

  9. Well, being a Trek fan myself I can't think of a better way to spend the day! I love the picture and, what's more, I recall getting ready to leave a comment when I was interrupted and never got back to it. That's the dern truth and it happens enough that it's starting to bother me!!! (not with you but just in general - makes me feel like a space cadet!)

Of course, I am back today due to the simple fact that YOU ROCK over Near, Philadelphia! My heart reaches out to you once again to tell you I think you're a wunnerful person. Big huge warm hugs my friend. *karendianne.

I'm hoping to get back to quilting now that i'm going to have more time at home.

Thanks so much for posting the Lace scarf pattern. I have been after a different pattern to use and this looks just perfect for a big cone of wool I just happen to have in my stash! :o)

Very best wishes for 2010. Lynda
