The lovely
Finn of Pieces from my Scrapbag, sent me these wonderful vintage 30/40s fabrics. When I opened the box they just sproiged out! She included some beautiful yardage too, see it there on the bottom? I found several MAM blocks and a Dresden plate -- I was in heaven. Thank you, Finn, I ♥ this gift!
What a nice gift!! I bet you have been dreaming about just the quilts you want to make with the fabric.
ReplyDeleteWhile I've never heard the word "sproinged", I know exactly what it meant! LOL Lucky girl you!
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked them *VBS* Enjoy! Hugs, Finn
ReplyDeleteWow! What a nice gift.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it fun to get something in the mail and when you open it, it jumps out at you........YEAH!
ReplyDeleteA few years ago Finn sent me some vintage linens (such as small doilies, etc) which I love and use. She's a sweetie!
ReplyDeleteThey certainly do look like "pieces from my scrapbag". So lovely. It's like going on a treasure hunt in someone's attic.
ReplyDeleteI never have run across the word "sproiged" before, but I have a mental picture of your goodies doing that.
ReplyDeleteOh my! I know you can make something lovely out of these! You have such an eye for color
