Beethoven's Last Night

The stage was appropriately spooky for the theme of Beethoven's Last Night. The music was great and loud. The event center was full. Did I say it was loud? Thank goodness I had ear plugs. I expected the laser light show and the fog machine. I did not expect the pyrotechnics and the heat you could feel from the stage.

Did you know that Trans-Siberian Orchestra donates $1.00 from each sold ticket to a local charity? The Humane Society was the recipient last evening.

If you ever get a chance to see this group, go. Don't forget your ear plugs.

  2. Remember when the saying was, "if it's too loud, you're too old" Funny how that doesn't apply anymore. Now we are just prudent ;-)

TSO was in our area before the holidays and offered $1 from each ticket to a local charity. I did not realize that they did this with each performance. All the more reason to support and enjoy their craft.

I have a DVD and a CD of Christmas music, and I love most of it, and you are so correct, the music can be loud on those as well.

  4. This is one of my hubby's favorite groups. He goes every year to the Christmas show and he is hankering to see this one. I went one year and it is LOUD but awesome.

  5. I am envious!! I love TSO and Beethoven's Last Night is my favorite (in fact, it's in my car's CD right now!) Somehow, I don't think they will ever come to Alaska :(
