The yearly guild retreat was held at the end of March and I pre-cut four kits using Mary's Quick Strippie Quilt pattern. This is a fun and simple pattern and Mary is very generous to give it away. Thanks Mary! I wanted simple sewing. Since these will be donations, I added borders to bring them up to a size that is acceptable for certain organizations.
Don't you just love that old Bill Blass sunflower fabric?
And here is another using not only that Bill Blass fabric but a coordinating one also.
How about some muscles cars? The medium sized strip is a fabric that looks like the 'for sale' section in a newspaper.
This one made me dizzy to work on as my eyes couldn't handle the black and white checked overload. Love the Robert Hoffman cherry fabrics
Great job on these Strippie quilts. I love Mary's patterns and blog, too.
