Dear PAULA,
We are very sad to announce that 3 quilts went missing from our exhibit area last Wednesday, August 15 sometime between 1 and 4pm. The High Fiber Artists were exhibiting 8 pieces from their "Colorado Challenge" 2012. Each piece was approximately 24" x 24". They are all wonderful art quilts and each one of a kind originals.
We are asking for your help in finding these quilts. Please be on the lookout for the quilts pictured below on EBay, Craigslist, Etsy or any other online sight where someone may try to sell them. If we are all watching we may be able to return these pieces to their owners and prosecute the offenders. Please forward this to any and all so we have as many eyes watching for them as possible.
If you were in the store last Wednesday afternoon and saw anything suspicious, we would appreciate any information you can provide. We will forward it to the Longmont Police Department.
We have been fortunate that nothing like this has happened before here at The Quilter's Studio. We have removed the exhibit for the safety of the other quilts and will be reviewing our exhibits for the future.
We thank you so much for your concern and efforts to help us and the artists.
