The streets in my neighborhood have been horrible for years. One would have to drive on the wrong side of the road to avoid potholes that were more like sinkholes. As a neighborhood with no HOA we talked with the county. We had to set up a Project Improvement District and pay into an account for the last 10 years. What this did was double our property taxes for these years. Now it is time.
Four streets are being ground down 14" and then paved.

ReplyDeleteWonderful that your street is getting paved! Bummer that it took so long and you had to pay separately for it. Hopefully they don't take too long to get it done.
