My Fabric Came!

I ordered this fabric last week before I joined the 2007 Fabric Diet. It came on Tuesday. These are some Daiwabo fabrics that eQuilter carries. I absolutely love texture. These fabrics give the illusion without the actual texture. The ones with the leave are for appliqué. The Asian women will show up soon on something. Too cool, huh?

And I have had a very geeky day. You could almost say that I have been in geek heaven! I had 2 different computers opened up installing memory in both of them. And while I had them open I used the canned air and blew the dust out of them. Oh. Need to do that more often! Then on the computer at home, I switched out the speakers. I now have a wonderful set of speakers and a subwoofer on my computer and can listen to iTunes while I blog. Woo-hoo! And speaking of techy bliss: CarGuy and I changed cellphone providers yesterday and I spent the evening playing with my way-cool new phone (and his since he wanted a certain song for his ringtone and I had to download it for him). Did you know I had this side to me? I love technical stuff. What a combo: high tech and quilts. Go figure.

  7. I really like that fabric line too. I also like tech stuff. I'm more into software than hardware, but I've managed to revive this one from near death a couple of times.

  8. If you have the same weakness for Daiwabo that I do, you'll want to visit http://www.pinwheels.com/

The proprietor, Maria, is a doll. I've got WAY too much fabric from her place . . . .
