I must be doing something right. I've been asked twice now on
Ravelry if I would allow the use of my photos. By yarn companies no less. Both of these photos were taken with my old PhD (push here dummy) point and shoot Kodak Easy Share. Sadly the camera is starting to add 'noise' to pictures, otherwise I would probably be still using it.
actually, those 2 colors would look nice together in a quilt.....
ReplyDeleteYou certainly are doing something right! I always loved your photos - unique layouts and the yarn always looked good enough to eat.
ReplyDeleteNoise? Is your camera digital? Maybe you need a new disc (or whatever your pics are recorded on). They can only be deleted so many times and the residue (noise) interferes. (I bet you already know that...)
How cool is that??? You are obviously doing something that they and we like!
ReplyDeleteyour photos are always great, so i'm not one bit surprised! however, your completed projects are fabulous, too!
ReplyDeleteWow - and I can say I 'knew' her when. Cheers to you!

How exciting!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah you! For me - it feels like a near brush with fame *s*
ReplyDeleteOkay, now that's extremely cool! Of course you must be doing something right. It's in this life that cool things are happening!!! :P
ReplyDeleteYou sure captured the schmooshie-ness of the yarn!
ReplyDeleteBoth your photography and your projects are always awesome. It's nice that you are being recognized for your talents behind the camera as well as the projects in front of it. And your photos of yarn are so yummy you even make a non-knitter/crocheter like me want to get my hands into it. No danger of that though - I bought a ball of yarn and a crochet hook last year and tried to relearn what I knew in college - there's no hope!
ReplyDeleteWonderful, kudos to you.
ReplyDeleteI am pretty impressed...I don't think any yarn company would take a picture of my work, LOL!!! such pretty colors!
ReplyDeleteOf course your pictures are great!
ReplyDeleteBoth my cameras are Easyshares. And they both got diplomas after I read this post. PhD - lol!
I've always told you, your photos are great! You have a real talent.
