Tonight is the snowboarding halfpipe. TheKid rides a snowboard and I just love to watch them. Of course, it is dangerous. I know someone who smashed up his clavicle and has all kinds of metal in him. Ugh. But watch the halfpipe tonight. I don't think Shaun White will disappoint when it comes to moves and flamboyancy.
I LOVE the half pipe. I LOVE Shawn White. My older son is a snowboarder. He's crazy.

Great fun watching the Olympics. I was wandering around my sewing room last night looking for (in front of the TV) hand work. I did finish the binding on my huge (king sized) quilt for my brother. Hmmmmm - next?

Let's hear it for the Flying Tomato! I love to watch him -- I can do that in good conscience because I'm not his mother.
ReplyDeleteMy sister, on the other hand, is obsessed with curling. She always was a little strange.
Word verification: "unhosess". To reposess someone's half pipe?
We are Olympics-obsessed here *s* Tonight is all about Shaun White . . . did you know he's from the same town we used to live in? Local boy makes good! I can hardly wait.
ReplyDeleteyep you've got to watch those spedy Skiiers!
ReplyDeleteWe are not obsessed but are enjoying what we do get to see. Last night watched that long cross country skiing and shooting event. Wow!
In my other life I was a chick doing the half pipe. :) So yeah, I was watching right along with you.
ReplyDeleteI'm not into watching sports, that includes these, but I will say that my hubby makes up for my lack. He is enjoying every moment that he can.
ReplyDeleteThe competition (and Shaun in particular) was amazing!
ReplyDeleteUgg - bloglines is slow. Yes I am watching - makes me feel really lazy though, because I can't do handwork while the action is going on.
ReplyDeleteI agree, it makes me wish I was younger and more limber. I would love to try that.
