There Is A Quilt There -- Somewhere


Really there is! I am soaking a quilt per the instructions from Vicki Welsh's tutorial: Save My Bleeding Quilt. The water has already changed color. I am soaking it for 12 hours because I want all that dye to release. I'll keep you updated.

    I've had excellent results using color catchers when I wash quilts. Is this a new quilt or an old quilt that you are trying to rescue? Good luck.

    I use Color Catchers faithfully on all the QOV that I launder. I've even used them for some hand-knit items.
