Quilt Show - Miscellany

Today, I thought I'd show some miscellaneous quilts from the show. You can view larger sizes by clicking on the photo.
The piecing and appliqué on this village quilt was superb. It just made me smile.

This feathered star is breathtaking in the 1880s reproduction fabrics, don't you think?

This bowtie quilt make a nice graphic statement and was almost a charm quilt as each bowtie was different.

One of my favorite patterns: a 9-patch and snowball combination. I think I've made 2 or 3 of these. I like the way the quilt maker used the same fabric in the border as in some of the snowball blocks.

  3. The village quilt made my entire day wonderful! And it wasn't even a difficult pattern - so friendly like -- as soon as it started opening, it brought a smile to my face. Thank you for all the photos.

Next, these photos opened up wonderfully large, yet on the blog they appear to be small, until clicked. What settings did you use when you posted them?
