Waiting for the AC Guy

I'm sitting here at work (in a puddle of sweat) waiting for the air conditioning guy to show up. The AC here at work only blows hot air. Now in a normal setting that is a problem. But do remember where I work? For those who don't know, I work for a sculptor. The clay is getting too soft to work with -- this is a major problem. I emptied the bottled water from the refrigerator and we put the maquette in to keep the clay from sliding right off the armature.

  1. I am sending cool thoughts your way. Our temperature dropped 10 degrees from yesterday (96) to today (86) so hopefully yours is getting better as well.

  2. I hope the AC gets fixed soon. There's not much worse than feeling like you're melting.

  3. Cool thoughts for a speedy a/c repair! I'm completely unfamiliar with sculptor-speak... but I'll take your professional word for those items, whatever they are!

  4. That's not a good situation - hopefully the repairman arrived hours and hours ago (I'm a little late in reading *s*)

  6. Not sure what a Maquette is, but I hope it is comfy in the fridge...

  7. You know, I've always considered sweating to be a waste of time and energy. It's not like I'm loosing weight in the process! lol Hence why I am not a sun worshiper. I had a friend in my teens who would lay in the sun all day. I wonder what her skin looks like now! This was in Fort Lauderdale. Sending cool thoughts to you!

  8. Ugh. AC issues are no fun. We were without AC at work a couple weeks ago. I am in Texas. No fun!
