- Yesterday it snowed all afternoon. We had a fire in the wood burning stove and our small family (3) had an early dinner. TheKid had to work last night so he was gone by 2:00pm so the rest of the afternoon it was just CarGuy and me. A pretty quiet Christmas. I spent the majority of the afternoon knitting a Jibber for Finn.
- I'm feeling a bit better. It's just a slow improvement every day.
- An off hand remark I made about inventorying Auntie's books and knick-knacks by hand, netted me a new laptop for Christmas! Now I need to set up a database for the inventory. I love my new laptop (except for Vista). I used a neighbor's WiFi yesterday to download AVG Free Virus protection.
- Funny thing: every one in the family but me received slippers. And I need them too!
- We have more cold and snow predicted for tomorrow. Brrr.
- And to make this post quilt related, I got the Winter 4 Seasons Quilt top finished and basted! Woo Hoo! It's ready to quilt. I'm on a roll.

Does the snowman offer include shipping and handling? I'd like 3, please *s*
ReplyDeleteWhat a great imaginative sign! LOL
ReplyDeleteI also have AVGFree and really like it a LOT. No more Norton for me!
I forgot to mention, we actually received snow - a bunch 5-6 inches. Seems it usually looses it's punch before it gets here, but not this time. It was a lovely surprise Christmas morning.
ReplyDeleteHa!! Love that sign!! I am glad you are feeling a bit better, just takes 10-14 days no matter what sometimes...
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you are knitting for Finn!! I think she will so enjoy that.

Oh - a new computer! Just what I need. Although Jim promises to fix the computer today! I got slipper though :)) Which I really needed.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are feeling a bit better. Happy New Year!!!
Can you send the unassembled snowman up here and we could put it together for New Years - LOL!
Cute Cute Cute Sign! We did not have a white Christmas :(
ReplyDeleteI too got a new laptop for Christmas. I haven't had any issues with Vista yet, but we can certainly commiserate if you need someone to vent at re: Vista LOL.
I am just having issues getting EQ6 loaded. EQ5 was no problem at all, but the upgrade is not liking me LOL.
Enjoy your new laptop :)
Your snowman sign is hilarious! We had a snowfree Christmas. Our weatherman was very disappointed, since so much of the country did receive snow.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great sign...very funny!!!
ReplyDeleteAh, snow. It's hard for me to imagine what that must be like.
ReplyDeleteHope you continue to improve. Happy 2008!
LOVE the sign!
ReplyDeleteI didn't mean to imply that I had never seen snow, cause I have. I just can't imagine my garden all covered in it when I look out the window or walk out the door. My garden would have to be so different to with stand snow dumping on it. Our climate is very different.
ReplyDeleteCheers !
Love the sign but would hate that much snow!
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better.
I would two snowmen please.
ReplyDeleteGreat sign-lol
ReplyDeleteeven my teens got a big laugh from it :)

when dh's grandfather was in one things would go missing all the time...sad but so true.
