Library Thing. I suppose it's the geeky analytical in me. Can you see that mass of wood on the floor? Those are the new shelves that attach to the studs in the walls. No more saggy particle board shelve! Woohoo!
I have an old library table that will replace the 2 short file cabinets that hold up the Formica countertop 'desk'. The 2 short cabinets will be replaced with a 4 drawer cabinet. One of the 2 drawer file cabinets will find a new home in the sewing room along with one of the bookcases. Currently, I have a shorter 3 shelf bookcase (same brand) in the sewing room that is stuffed to overflowing. CarGuy said he needed a short open-faced cabinet in the shed and I asked if a bookcase would work. Yes, so the shorter bookcase is moving out to the shed. I have books every where. They are in heaps on the guest bed, stacks in the spare chairs, piles on the floors.
And CarGuy has decided that now is the time to start a small little project of his own. He has emptied several of the kitchen drawers onto the counter and has been experimenting on the best way to refinish the kitchen cupboards. I haven't complained, because frankly the cupboards really need some work.
Between the home office rework, the piles of books, furniture in odd spots awaited permanent locations and kitchen paraphanalia all over the kitchen, my house currently looks like a whirlwind hit it.
