These have kept me busy for the last week. Easy to make and great stashbusters! I made 20 but put a zipper in wrong side out and so had to keep that one and I fell in love with this one. They are for a guild fundraiser in August and are very addicting to make. Used up scraps from the strip bins by string quilting onto scraps of batting. O and don't forget that large stash of plastic toothed zippers you have been hording for some unknown reason. Really, where did all those zippers come from? Do they breed in the dark?
So adorable -- great pattern! I have an eyeglass case in that fabric and I love it.
ReplyDeleteI love small projects that go together fast! nice to have accomplishments! your bag is CUTE!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous idea for using up all of those zippers that piled up during the 'zipperless free pattern' years. Now, that they're 'in' again, I'm wondering how many new sewers can even put one in! Obviously, Miss 20 in one row...you sure can!!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh how cute and I love that one, too. I even have some of that fabric. Very fun, Paula.
ReplyDeleteGotta love those zipper bags, this one is sweet as can be. :o)
ReplyDeleteNice. In my opinion, you can never have too many zippers.
ReplyDeleteI have that cat fabric also. It is an old one. I made a vest for my granddaughter out of it 15 years ago.
ReplyDeleteThat means you had 20 zippers on hand. Wow
Cute! Thanks so much for the link. It is exactly what I've been looking for!
ReplyDeleteVery cute. What a great idea for a fundraiser. I love zippered bags and am forever buying new ones! Cheers! Evelyn
ReplyDeleteOooo . . . how bright and adorable!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link to the cosmetic bag. I want to make one, maybe two, maybe more! Yours is adorable!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the idea, they would be great to hold sewing/knitting items for your bag also.
ReplyDeleteI need some indoor things to do. (cool, too hot out) Great pattern.
