Cosmetic Bags

These have kept me busy for the last week. Easy to make and great stashbusters! I made 20 but put a zipper in wrong side out and so had to keep that one and I fell in love with this one. They are for a guild fundraiser in August and are very addicting to make. Used up scraps from the strip bins by string quilting onto scraps of batting. O and don't forget that large stash of plastic toothed zippers you have been hording for some unknown reason. Really, where did all those zippers come from? Do they breed in the dark?

  3. Fabulous idea for using up all of those zippers that piled up during the 'zipperless free pattern' years. Now, that they're 'in' again, I'm wondering how many new sewers can even put one in! Obviously, Miss 20 in one row...you sure can!!

  6. Nice. In my opinion, you can never have too many zippers.

  7. I have that cat fabric also. It is an old one. I made a vest for my granddaughter out of it 15 years ago.

That means you had 20 zippers on hand. Wow
