Design Wall Monday - August 6, 2012
It's been a busy week here at Casa del Quilter. The county fair is in progress and I visited the open class exhibits on Friday right after opening. Now, THAT is the time to go to the fair: not a lot of people yet so I could look at the exhibits in relative calm.
The design wall is static -- nothing has changed.
But the applique block on the light box has changed. I finished the previous week's block and have started on another. The previous blocks had holly, this one has mistletoe and jingle bells. Applique is a great way to use up bits and bobs of scrap fabric.
